TASTING NOTES

This intriguing blend was a combination of unique varietals containing Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Muscat and Riesling. The result is a tropical, exotic nose of key lime, jasmine, pear, honeysuckle and grapefruit with nuances of spice. The palate is smooth and medium bodied with layers of tropical fruit flavours of lemon drop, pear and lime with a crisp undercurrent of acidity, mingled with subtle oak notes. Best now 2007 – 2010.

WINEMAKERS NOTES

The grapes for this white assemblage were harvested from vineyards between Beamsville and Niagara on the Lake. Harvest dates ranged from September 17th to October 24th. The grape varieties were processed, fermented and aged separately, some in stainless steel, older oak barrels or a combination of the two. After ageing, the wines were brought together and worked into their final blend. Bottled September 2007.
