Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 375ml
Our very limited Cabernet Icewine exhibits a unique style with both the aroma and taste, offering allusions of Santa Rosa black plums, ripe red currants and strawberry jam. Harvested at temperatures between minus 10 to 14 degrees Celsius, has frozen the grapes resulting, a yield of 200 liters of intensely concentrated juice reaching 40.0 Brix. Cold fermented over a one-month period. Palatine has purposely bottled this elegant Icewine early to preserve all of the natural fruity characters of this well known varietal. Only 125 cases were produced. Magnificent by itself, it can also accompany creamy desserts, custards, soufflés, fruit desserts and pound cake.
