“One of the best 2006 roses yet encountered, with very bright, fairly deep garnet colour. Lifted, appealing floral, lavender, redcurrant jam, spearmint leaf nose. Mid-weight, intense, dry with a tart/bitter pomegranate-like finish. Quite powerful; dry. Serve with cold vegetable and pasta salads.”
David Lawrason, April 2007
