Vidal 2006
This varietal as an Icewine is known for its sweet, deeply concentrated fruity attributes. In contrast, this wine is made from grapes harvested late in the season, but not in Winter. It has a pale golden yellow tinge, and offers faint honey/nectar flavours and aromas. Still young now, but with a well balanced acidity and an alcohol content of 13.0%, this wine will continue to develop, given the right amount of patience and self-control. Perfect for those who enjoy the rich honey characteristics of an Icewine, with only half the sweetness. Serve chilled. Great as aperitif too.
